Hi Juliet,
Would you happen to have anything on a Jessie Hippensteel,could this be "Tressy" listed on the 1850 census as dau. of William.
According to my grandma, her grandmother's name was Jessie Hippensteel, she had my great-grandmother out of wedlock, but gave the birth father's name as Mark Hinzey. Her daughter's name was Minta Hinzey. Jessie later went on to marry Albert Hull. My grandma was born in 1920, otherwise I'm not sure of dates but they were all from Wabash, IN or close surrounding counties. I've had great difficulty finding anything out about these folks and would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks!
