Hi Paul,
I'm afraid that I don't have an exhaustive list of parishes where the Hirons family lived in the eighteenth century, but I can tell you that the name was relativly localised within an area straddling the borders of South Warwickshire, North Oxfordshire and West Northamptonshire. If you were to draw a circle of radius fifteen miles centered on the town of Banbury, it would roughly describe the correct area.
I suggest that you visit the websitehttp://www.dmbennett.freeserve.co.uk/http://www.dmbennett.freeserve.co.uk/ where you will find an excellent freeware UK parish locating program. With this utility you can quickly establish the names of parishes in a particular area and their geographical relationship to each other - I use it all the time.
The Hirons surname has several varients - Hiorns, Irons, Hyrons, Hihorns, Hyrorons, Iorns etc. Kenirons is an Irish version.
I have noticed Hirons families in the parish records of Fenny Compton, Burton Dassett, Southam, Radway, Bishops Tatchbrook, Chacombe, Chipping Norton, Crick, Clifton Upon Dunsmore, Stratford upon Avon and Wormleigton. I'm sure there are many more instances.
Best of luck in your researches.
John
