Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Can't find if I sent you a note or not. So may be repeating. I sent for the death record of my Grgrandfather's sister Martha Hoag Fitch Stanton who was born NY 1823. She was living in Mattewan Mi in 1903 when my Grgrandfather Peter Hoag died in Il. She was too feeble to attend the funeral. Wouldn't you know, no record. So she must have moved to another location before she died. I rec'd Peter's death record, but it didn't give names of his parents, which I really wanted. Will let you know if I find anytjhing.
