I'm descended from Daniel and Phebe also
(Seth -> Wyman -> Charles -> John -> John).

Have been investigating this line for awhile, particularly the Grand Isle Hoags and ones who stayed there
(Seth, Mosher, and David).

The line I have from John (1643) to Daniel is

John (1643) m Ebenezer Emery
Benjamin (1680) m Sarah Norris, Esther Swett
Moses (1743) m Sarah Nichols, Alyse Tripp
Daniel (1761) m Phebe Mosher.

There is sometimes controversy over Benjamin or Jonathan as they both begat Moses around Amesbury , Amss who later moved to Nine Partners, NY..
But Daniel was born to Moses (Benjamin) and Alyse Tripp in Dartmouth, Mass in 1761
at that time, Moses (Jonathan) was living in 9 partners married to his cousin, Patience ( Benjamin).

Moses, Alyse, Daniel, brother Nathan, and sister left Dartmouth after 1765 and probably moved to Nine Partners again.
(I"m currently trying to get more details on this move. I've been able to verify the rest of it through brith records , etc).

Daniel then settled on Grand Isle, Vt in 1787 and the Hoags were part of the Quaker community there.

Also have a record of the birth of John Hogg birth in 1643 in BOston with Ridhard Hogge as father
