Welcome aboard.
Have a look at Jim Hobbins family tree on the messages.
There has to be a connection with the Midlands Hobbins and the start of the Irish Hobbins.
We,ll find it.The answer lies with the various english regiments that served in Ireland, I,m sure of it.
