I do not think that Henry ever knew how old he was, !!.. because on the Census:-
In 1871 he was 23.
In 1881 he was 26..???............(He,d aged 3 years in 10. ??)
In 1891 he was 39..???........... (He,d aged 16 years in 10. ??)
In 1901 he was 47..???........... (He,d aged 8 years in 10. ??)
(On all these Census I am satisfied that I have the correct man because
on all these Census he was a bricklayers labourer and had the same wife and children)
