I believe that Thomas Hobbins of Portsmouth England is my direct ancestor. My father's name is Thomas Hobbins, and that name runs back--according to information given to me by my father--for at least six generations. The information my father gave me indicates that the family is from Portsmouth. Please let me know when you read this and I'd love to have an email exchange. I'll tell you all I know and would love to hear what you know.
