Julia,
Thanks again for your info and doing a follow-up post to my message...I did not get to respond adequately this morning, since I was at work...so, Thanks!
I do not see your e-mail address with the posting. You can e-mail it to me at [email protected]......
I will track your directions on a map and see what I find. Last time I was there I was in that vicinity with my cousin Kevin and his wife, and we could not find it. I remember going through Manitou...we also went to the farmland that my grandfather grew up and worked the tobacco fields. Ironic that he ended up adamantly opposed to smoking! :)
I believe you are correct that Hezekiah's father was Thomas B. but can't prove it 100%....the linkage I think that has been projected to that point (Hezekiah) is:
Shadrack Hapgood b. 1642 England; d.1675 W. Brookfield, Worcester Co., MA
Thomas b. circa 1664 ?; d. 1739 Norfolk Co., VA
Thomas b. circa 1695 Norfolk Co. VA; d. circa 1755 Norfolk Co., VA
Hezekiah b. circa 1726 Norfolk Co. VA; d. ? Granville Co., NC
John b. circa 1763 ?; d. ? Webster Co., KY
Bill Hobgood has posted something that concurs with what I had.I have asked that my mom send me "the big box."
You may already have the linkage above....Sure would be great if we could link this all up for sure!
Thanks,
Brent
