My greatgrandfather was Conrad Hofacker, born in Salmunster, Kurhessen, Germany on
1/8/1832, and married to Anna Marie Fay, born on 5/7/1832 in Gross Steinheim, Hessen, Germany. They originally lived in Lehighton, PA where their youngest child was born (Anna Theresa) in 1958. The family then moved to New Haven, CT. He was a Union
soldier.
I'm interested in finding any connecton to Conrad's brothers, whom I believe, were three in numbers. One was named Killian.

I'm not sure of the exact date that Conrad arrived in the US. But I do know that he was preceded by some brothers. Early 50's is my guess.
