Dear Sir,
I was just reading the book "the Rise and fall of the Third Reich, and came across my mother's maiden Name Hofacker. in the book it named Lt. Col Klaus Stauffenberg as a cousin to Holfacker, and a fellow conspirtor. Hope that helps you a little.

I am to on a journy to find my history. My grandfather was
born in 1898 in NJ, and his parent came from Germany some time before that. my greatgrand father had a title of Von Stertion Hofacker. my grand father's name was August William Holfacker, served in WW1, and was a fireman in N.Y.C., he moved to the west coast to be close to his two other daughters. My mother and her two sisters have since died, and I don't have anyone to ask these questions to. I am 33 now and regret never asking before.
