I have the information you want but I am having trouble getting into my genealogy Program. I got a Lot of information from RHoffecker. I believe his E-Mail is AOL.
I heard somewhere that Adam was a blacksmith from Akron. I have not been able to keep things up to date as I have had eye trouble and dI hope to get going again.

There are many spellings of this sur name, as in the era gone by they wrote what they thought it sounded like..
So do not hold to your Spelling in this neck of the woods we spell it Hofacre. But it was Johan Michael Hoffecker that staarted it all in Anerica.
