Since George H lived in Ashtabula in 1930 this has to be their son. In the census it could be either N or H. Esther was born in Illinois but her parents were born in Canada. That is probably where your grandmother got the Canadian connections.

If Henrietta was born in Tennessee than this is likely her family. Birthdate is correct from above census.I found no Henrietta Hogans in Indiana who were the right age.
