HOGANS of St. Gabriel's Church in Chicago

I was able to acquire the marriage certificate of Thomas Hogan and Bridget Burke who were married in Chicago in 1885 by Father Dorney. Researching Father Dorney led me to the parish he established at St. Gabriel's Church. I wrote them a letter and the church was very kind to respond very promptly with all of the information they had about this couple including the baptisms of three of their children. These children included: John James, b. 1886; Sarah, b. 1890; and Thomas Patrick, b. 12/31/1894. John James was an unknown child until the baptismal record. This child apparently died young - likely at about six months but this is unconfirmed. Church records were missing another known daughter named Catherine who was born about 1892 so I suspect that the family might have moved into another parish for a time. Does anyone know another early parish that supported the irish population of Chicago?
