Good afternoon James,
My name is Bob Ryan, I live in Providence, R.I. I have been searching my Ryan Family, nickname ryanblack, for over 20 years. I was able to get back to my g grandfather born 1834. Yesterday 1/16/2009 I found his father in the Griffiths Valuations, in Kilmacogue in Tipperary. Also listed are a William and Michael Hogan. I assume and hope that is your Family. There are 21 names listed there. William has a house, office and land. Michael has land and office.
I have searched on line for info about Kilmacogue and have not been able to find out anything about it. I would appreciate any info you have about the area. I notice your family was baptized in Newport, Kiilmacogue and one more place, could you tell me about those also. I have been to Newport but not the other two.
