Hi Carl, I tried to send you this information to your email address and gmail did not recognize it as a valid address. Okay, let me tell you how I am related to the Hogans. My grandmother was Kathyrn Hogan. She had a brother name Arthur Hogan. My great grandmother was Etta and grandfather was Isom Hogan. Isom has several brothers and sisters which was one of them James H. Hogan. Lue (aka Luella) married James H. Hogan (he was her second husband) around 1900. Lue was born in Louisiana around 1855. I figured that out because in 1910 she was 55 yrs old and subtracted her age from that date. A lot of the information that I have is very confusing because my mother tells me that her grandfather was Isam (Bud) Hogan and his wife was Etta, however, my mother tells me that her grandmother was deceased by the time she came along. My older sister said that our great grandfather use to live with our grandmother Kathyrn and her husband before he died. When you look at the census records, Isam was only married to Etta and they had one child Sunta. However, my grandmother and her brother had the same mother but she was not Etta. My uncle Art (whom I did not know was my grandmothers brother until recently) never talked about their mother. So, that is were the trail grows cold. I have been searching for the family information for some time. I have traveling to Tulsa frequently because I am in a graduate program at ORU. When I go I try to find out as much information as possible. I am going back to Tulsa in May. I am going to try to find some information when I get there. Hopefully, I can get my grandmothers death records which should identify who her mother was. I will let you know what I find. By the way, if you don't mind me asking, where do you live? I live in Georgia. -- Antoinette West Notify Administrator about this message?
