Rebecca....Below is the Ohio Death Certificate site. There is one there for EMMELINE MYERS who died in 1926. ALEXANDER MYERS is there, too. He died in 1909. If you haven't used the site before, when their names come up, click on the little black square to the left of the name to see an actual image of the certificate. http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=collectionDetails;t=searchable;c=1307272 ------------------------------ Here is a link to the 1850 census. Using the info from the death certificate, I found the Hogan family there. Put the name EMELINE HOGAN and OHIO in the appropriate blanks. When her name comes up (birth will be 1841), click on the little black square to the left of her name to see the actual census image of Emeline with her parents John/Maria and 3 siblings. Alexander is on the 1850 census with his parents, too. He is listed as ALEXANDER MYRES with estimated birth as 1835. http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html#p=collectionDetails;t=searchable;c=1401638 ------------------------------- Unless otherwise indicated, these census records are from HeritageQuest Online. 1860 Springdale Post Office, Springfield Township, Hamilton County, Ohio Census - Page 295A - Enumerated 21 July: All household members were born in Ohio.
