*Delbridge & All:
Your Lucinda Holliman is prob. from my same line of Hollyman's who were in VA in 1600s, many in NC in 1700s, and my particular line went to GA by late 1700s, but others went all over! If you can, and if you see this post, pls. read my previous posts abt my line, and the HOLLYMAN FAMILY book I have, which was first publ. in 1952 by cousin George A. Holleman, 350 pp., beginning with "immigrant" ancestor, CHRISTOPHER HOLLYMAN and wife Mary (Gray?), and their several children. I desc. from their son Richard, thru his son, Samuel. But several other brothers and 2 sisters (who m. Atkinsons) are shown, with descendants down to my grandmother's generation; I and another Holliman cousin updated and had the book REPRINTED in 1989, adding many new lines, and showing SUBMITTER'S names and addresses. the book now comes down to and including me and my children.
I still have plenty of copies of the book left for sale if anyone's interested. (The book IS ON MICROFILM/FICHE in the SLC FHL..of course, it's nice to have your own copy to peruse and mark up at your convenience! I try to sell them very reasonably priced so all may own at least one!)
My line went on into Wilkinson Co.GA by mid 1800s. Hope to hear from others!
Best to all! *TINA/CA* mailto:
