Ezekiel Holliman

Please forgive the cross-listing. I'm trying to touch all the Hollyman/Holloman/Holliman bases I can.

In the latest brochure from the Clearfield Company (, an Ezekiel Holliman is listed among followers of and settlers in Roger Williams' Providence, R.I., settlement back in the 17th century. Since I have an Ezekiel Hollomon in my line, of course it caught my attention, but my Ezekiel was born in the 18th century and lived in the VA/NC area. Still, since I've noticed a number of other Ezekiels in other Hollyman lines, it struck me as worthy of inquiry. Does anyone on this list have info about an early Rhode Island connection?
