Well hello,

I am descended from Cornelius Holliman and Elizabeth Plyer or maybe it was Mary Elizabeth. His son Joshua Holliman became a doctor. He married a woman named Rachel Ann Martin, stories were told that she was either full blood Choctaw or at least half. They had 12, maybe 13 children. They lived in Mississippi. He was a doctor in the Civil War and he was with Nathan Bedford Forrest's bunch. After the war they moved to Hot Springs Arkansas and then they divorced. He married again and I don't know what happened after that. My great grandmother, his youngest daughter, married a Euphratus Greathouse and moved to Western Arkansas and then later to Oklahoma where she died. Rachel died in DeQueen, Ar and is buried in a cemetary where the Trail of Tears had passed through sometime before.
