Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Tina, Purchased the book several years ago. I am descended from Jordan - Alford- and Susan Frances Holliman of Lafayette/Pontotoc counties in NE Mississippi. We spell it "Holleman". Alford was a Civil war veteran, although he spent most of war in the nearest medical facility with various illnesses. The book spells Jordan's name as Gordan, but his tombstone in the family cemetary spells it as Jordan.
