Seeking data re ELIZABETH HOLLINGER. Married ALEXANDER PATTERSON, b 1818.
1870 Fed Census, Mt. Joy Borough, Elizabeth was 42. Her mother, BARBARA HOLLINGER, 74, in household as were MARY A. 7 and EMMA 4. 1880 census only Alexander, Elizabeth and "niece", Mary, in household.
Letter written by Alexander's twin sister, Elizabeth Patterson Arthur, Philadelphia, Aug 1, 1876 mentions her sister-in-law "kept close to home" caring for her mother and her niece.
1900 Mt. Joy Census Elizabeth "a boarder", widow, married 50 years ago, and had had no children.
