Robert Hallon b England 1601 to VA in 1618
Here's what I show.
Robert and his wife Ann (Unk) were servants, transported by Abraham Wood to Charlies City Co VA arriving in Aug 1618, having sailed on the 'Francis Bonaventure'.
Two known children: Sarah and Robert Jr.
Sarah m 1. John Sturdivant in 1655 in Charles City Co VA...lots of children.
She also m Samuel Woodward, brother of William Woodward b c 1625.Wm Woodward wasthe noted Indian Interpreter of that era. This family is also related to the Cocke family who were also movers and shakers.
I suspect that this Hallon or Hallom name was quickly known as Hollon.NO other records can be found (to my knowledge of any other Hallon families.)
Just thought that I would pass this on for consideration.
