Jacob born in the early 1800's

We are looking for information on a Jacob.

Currently all the information we have is that he had a son in Texas on Septemeber 17, 1885 named William Martin Holt. That he was married to Liza. Liza name could have been Eliza Jane (as that is what has come down in
the family history books), in the family history books her name is listed as Eliza Jane Waggoner. On William Martin's death certificate her name is Eliza Loftus. On the texas marriage records she is listed as Lofton.

We can find no other records on these two people. It is possible that the name Holt was shorten from something else. If you know anything that might possible match please let me know so that I might check it out.

Any help would be very apprecited!

Cheers,
Kristy
