If anyone is interested, the following Holtzmans are indexed in the NARA microfilm M-602, Roll 102 "Index to Compiled Service Records of Volunteer Soldiers Who Served the the War of 1812" I recently examined this microfilm at the Clayton Library - Center for Genealogical Research, Houston, TX:

HOLTZMAN, Elie (Pvt.) 1st Regt. DC Militia, Col Magruder, Lt. Col. Thompson

HOLTZMAN, George (Driver) 1st Regt. DC Militia

HOLTZMAN, George (Pvt.) 21st Regt. (Reed's) Maryland Militia

HOLTZMAN, John (Pvt.) 1st Regt. DC Militia

HOLTZMAN, John (Pvt.) 2nd Regt. (Heath's) Maryland Militia

HOLTZMAN, Samuel (Pvt.) 2nd Regt. (Brent's) DC Militia

HOLTZMAN, William (Pvt. - Corp.) 1st Regt. DC Milita

There may be others with surname variations (Holtsman, Holtzmann, Holtsman, etc.) and perhaps other Holtzmans in different states. These are the only ones I made note of due to limited time.
