Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

We are an organization devoted to assembling and preserving the family line and history of Hans Jacob Honaker, 1749 Swiss-German immigrant from whom most American Honakers descend. Our 1998 book, Honaker Family in America, and its ongoing CD-ROM supplement list 27,000 descendants, including eight Nannie Bell Honakers, but none known married to a Lee Langley.

We get new information daily. If you would like us to add your query to the Unidentified Chapter of the book, and provide us with your mailing address, we would be happy to notify you if/when we are able to connect her with known family. There is no cost. We are probably your best bet. Nobody has more complete family listings than we do. It would help if you could give us her actual or estimated birth and death dates so we will at least know what century we are looking for.

With kind regards, your cousin, Tom Hanlin, volunteer, Honaker Family Assn., Inc., P.O. Box 3636, Alexandria VA 22302-0636, 703-751-7321, honakerfamilyassn@attglobal.net
