I would give anything on earth to see a picture of another Abraham rifle, to see how closely the Colonial Williamsburg one was restored. We have identified a lot of people with James A. Honaker rifles but not a single person with an Abraham Honaker rifle, and do not know whether any Abraham rifle was ever signed, which may be the single biggest reason for the latter's rarity. If you would be able to get a picture of the so-called Abraham rifle, we should submit it to Colonial Williamsburg for comparison, and I'm sure their master gunsmith would be interested in talking to the owner. This would be an exceptionally rare rifle and surely worth tens of thousands of dollars depending on condition.
