We only have bits and pieces of the story My adoptive Father Stanley Carl Honaker of De. (deceased now) began looking for his father i think i was told in his mid 20's. his Mother Margret (And im embarrassed not to know her last name at the time of his birth) knew he was searching and told him that Denver Carl Honaker died of a rare blood diease...which after my father Stanley passed away my younger and only Brother Denver Carl Honaker's wife found a phone number online for a Denver Carl Honaker in W. VA.,she called and the man swore that it couldnt be him because he was in the military at the time. Family had said that the story of blood diease was not true that grandmother Margaret was protecting Stanley from being hurt. Supposedly Denver Carl Honaker had many children out of wedlock some say at least 5. My brother took his father Stanleys death very hard and he has no Honaker family that he knows..would like to find someone who can help him fill a void maybe that he has carried for awhile..somekind of information. To me when i heard the military excuse of why he couldnt be upset me as that was the same thing i heard from my real father that i have never met, i found him at a point and he said it was the past, leave the past in the past, some people just do not understand how your life feels like something is missing every day..thanks for helping if you can.
