Michael Alexander Honaker of Monroe CO., WV

Michael Alexander Honaker is my great-great-great-grandfather. He fought in the Civil War and eventually moved to Iowa, where he passed away. I am interested in finding out if his father was Ephraim Honaker, son of Frederick C. Honaker, or if it was Ephraim Sargeant Honaker. From examining 1860 census it appears that Ephraim without the S. was his father. I had heard that Michael Alexander Honaker was of Swiss descent, so it fits in that respect. Thanks!
