This line of Hopkinson is indeed elusive, they lived in Fort Fairfield, ME, circa. 1850-1880 and all they have is marriage returns for that time period. I have no info regarding Jonathan's parents but if you are researching their descendants try this: Do a Google or Yahoo search for as typed (VERY IMPORTANT) "ford/noyes". Results given will be for a Noyes Family web page. In the description it will either mention an Abigail Ford or a Henry Ford Noyes. Click on the web page, from there find the side bar menu box and click on surnames. From there you click on "H", find Hopkinson and go from there. I was unsuccessful in trying to find a direct search link to this narrative part of the site. I found it to be fairly informative, my ties to them involves their son William F. Hopkinson, Esq. He married a Eunice Decker and when he passed away she re-married my GGGrandfather Joshua Ford. Interested in finding the family "cemetery" in Fort Fairfield. Hopes this helps you.
