I am looking for those researching the Hopp surname with origins in Grammendorf, Pommern, Germany or vicinty. My ancestor Christian Frederick Hopp b. December 14, 1850 in Grammendorf immigrated to Elgin, Kane Co., IL in 1870. His two brothers followed: Joachim Friedrick Hopp b. abt 1842 and Johann Friedrich Ferdinand Hopp b. April 08, 1854 in Gransbieth, Pommern, Germany. According to the death certificate of "Christ", their parents were John Hopp and Mary Weseman. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Lisa
