OurHorans also came over in the potato famine and of that I know little else. However John Horan did have a son John Horan also who was born at Fort Kearny and I think the elder John may have died there. This was in the 1860's.John married Rose Hayes and they had 5 children the youngest was a victim of the 1919 flu while in the army and the eldest married into the fOgara clan of Omaha and my own gramma Anna Elizabeth Horan married William Parker in Nebraska in the early 1900's.My late father Wallace E Parker born Jan4 1911 died Jan17,1989 in Clackamas Oregon raised 10 children:Nancy Wigmore, Joseph,Gail, Elizabeth,Wayne, Daniel, Mary Dunafon, Madonna, Patrick and Richard. His wife was Margaret Thomas Parker of the Lockyears of Evensville Indiana.
