I am a direct descentant of Joseph Horrocks and Jane Nicholson who came to Australia in 1865 and 1869 respectively. The story of the Horrocks Millions is one that I have grown up with and believe I have traced back to Joanna Ford and Thomas Tabley.Although with a lot of holes. My Nana Jessie Gregory is to provide details of the unsuccessful attempts to reclaim the millions by her mothers brothers John and Alex. I have copies of transcripts of some Wigan papers which describe what happened (It seems like we were swindled in at least 3 different ways.

I would love to hear from anyone (particularly Kathleen who originally posted the message - an personal email attempt was unsuccessful)who has information that is related to the story and would be more than happy to share the information that I currently have.
