Hello:
I am hoping to find someone with information about Ellen Horrocks, likely born about 1843 in Newton Heath, near Manchester, Lancashire, England. She married Benjamin William Hulton c. 1867 and had 8 children, including my grandfather William Hulton, born 1885.
It is possible Ellen had an older sister named Mary who married Edward Anderson in Lancashire, moved to Germany and had 6 children, moved back to Failsworth, Lancashire in time for the 1881 census, then emigrated to Danielson, CT (Connecticut), USA. Records show Mary's father was William Horrocks.
Ellen (Horrocks) Hulton's oldest daughter, Alice Hulton m. Stephen Sutton in Manchester, Lancashire and emigrated to Danielson, CT in the 1890s. Alice and Stephen Sutton are buried in the same cemetery as Mary and Edward Anderson, and newspaper obituaries show the families knew each other.
Can anyone put these clues together? Many, many thanks if so.
