Hi Barbara,
We have an ancestor whose name is John Horrocks. He married Isabella Taylor in 1834 in Canada. They raised twelve children. Our family tree was given to us by an aunt. She states his father was also named John born in 1768. We found an article that has a John Horrocks born in 1768 and died in 1804 but have found no evidence to verify whether this information is correct or not. Can you verify if this is true or not? The dates don't add up right. There has got to be at least one missing generation and we wondered if you've researched this yourself. If you have any information that you could help us with, we sure would appreciate it. Thanks alot.
