I saw your posting requesting information on Russell
G. Horrocks. I have a little, although I am not very
familiar with this branch of the family (Russell would
be my 1st cousin twice removed.)
Russell was married at least 3 times. He married Elva
Ann Moore 4 Sep 1937 (Salt Lake County Marriage
License #A077417. According to the Deceased Members
File (LDS Members--FHL F#884171) for his mother, he
was married to Helen Kallas in 1960. And you relate
that he was married to Nellie May Pritchard.
Russell died, according to the SSDI, 31 Oct 1999 in
Ogden, Weber, Utah (SS# 528-07-6728). I tried to find
his obituary in the Ogden Standard Examiner, but their
online archives only go back to March 2000. I'll have
to check out their city library next time I am up that
way (actually, I'll be there this Saturday, but it
will be to attend my son's wedding, so I doubt that
I'll be able to slip away for a little genealogy!!)
His obit was not in the SLC newspapers.
Russell and Elva had a son, Derrald, who passed away in
1996.
