Hi i am the great granddaughter of mathrew horrocks from england to wv, cabin creek, paint creek ,ect. my great grand was mathrew horrocks b england in 1847 he married mary e d pettry b wv 1859. thay married sep 13 1876 kanawha wv thare children were alice, b 1880 william, b 1886 lizzie, 1888 robert joseph b 1889 mitchell b 1891 sarah b 1893 victoria b 1898 , my grandfather was robert joseph horrocks he married georgia ann dorman , thay had four children jacob ,thelma, mary, lucy my mother , in looking in the census you will find thare names spelled harracks harrocks and any other way the census worker saw fit to spell it,ive just started looking for this side of our family, and am new at this ,and most of my info comes from my mother . i do have some photos ,i am looking for info on mathrew horrocks , from england i think his mothers name was emma? you can email me at sassy999@centurytel.net thanks mary
