Hi Cousin (and almost neighbor!!) Thanks for your reply. I looked at the information that is at Worldconnect and I see a problem that I've seen in the past. Someone has assumed the John Horrocks (born in 1821, died 1896 in Heber City, and the progenitor of the Duchesne County Horrocks) and our John Horrocks (born 1811, died 1861 in Ogden, and progenitor of the Weber County Horrocks) are the same person. They are not. The record in Worldconnect has the correct birth year (1811) of our JH, but the death date of their JH. Make sense? I think the problem arose when our JH showed up in the 1860 census (and died 1861), and the other JH, who immigrated to Utah in 1866, shows up in the 1870 census. Thus there was only one JH of the approximate correct age in the 1860 census and only one JH of the approximate correct age in the 1870 census. I, also, need to spend more time with this line. It's been at a standstill for too long!!! Bruce West Jordan, UT Notify Administrator about this message?
