Diana...We just need to meet. I've got about 60 pages of Horsey Family information for you that I can copy.
Samuel Barnhart and Lucy Nina Horsey's family is found on the 1910 census, taken May 10th in Garfield County, WA. (Mayview Precinct, E.D. 61 (67) Sheet II B (7218) Line 136)
Barnhart, Samuel C. age 39, born Kansas, farmer, owner
Lucy Nina, age 29, born Kansas, mar. 7 years, 3 children
Madella E., age 15, born Kansas, (1895)
Florence J., age 10, born Washington, (1900)
Raymond E., age 5, born Kansas, (1905)
Millard F., age 3, born Kansas, (1907)
Etta W., age 1, born Washington (1909)
My aunt speculates...From this information Samuel Barnhart was married 1st wife unknown, about 1894/5 in Kansas, migrated to Washington State before 1900 and returned to Olathe, Kansas, probably after his wife died. He married Nina Horsey ca 1903 returning to Washington with two daughters and two sons, where the youngest was born about 1909.
