Do you know how Thomas Horsey and Daniel Horsey who served together in 1778 might be related to each other? I assume this Daniel is the one who married the widow Sarah Jones.
I descend from David Horsey/Harsey who was born c. 1825 in Lexington Co. I think David must have been the first child of John Erasmus Horsey and his wife Julia Ann Wise. David did not appear with this family on the 1850 census. By that time, David Horsey had already married Elizabeth Smith and was living elsewhere. I have located the David Horsey family on the 1860 census in Lexington, living next to Erasmus, but cannot find them in 1850 or 1870. Would like to find a Bible record, L.W.T., etc. offering proof of the connection between David and Erasmus Horsey
