Hi Joe,

If we could go back to Md. for a minute, I wonder if you have any information on Isaac Horsey? My 5th GGrandfather, Isaac Somers (Summers)of Somerset Co., Md. named his second son Horsey Somers. Isaac was the son of John Summers and ?.
Isaac was born sometime in the 1720s and married Mary Roach.
He is mentioned in wills along with Cornelius Ward and Revell Horsey. I understand that Benjamin Summers and Stephen Horsey were friends and can't help wondering if John could have married a child of Isaac Horsey. John did leave a will, however the wife listed appears to be a 2nd wife. Daughters were Mary, Elizbeth and Deborah. I believe that John Summers b.circa 1703 was the son of Thomas and Sarah ? Summers. Perhaps Sarah was the Horsey? Finding these colonial women is really difficult!!!
