I would be interested to know of any information / descendents of the sons of HERCULES HORSEY = ELIZABETH SALTONSTALL [1 MAY 1660]. Known sons are JOHN, RICHARD, HENRY and SAMUEL. Father and at least three sons had connections to the wool trade as members of The Clothworkers' Company & The Mercers' Company. HERCULES was a descendent of SIR EDWARD HORSEY thence continuing right back to Sir John Horsey of Melcombe Horsey, Somerset in the C13. JOHN & RICHARD were - 1724 - ' merchants of Leghorn' i.e. Livorno, near Genoa in Italy. RICHARD was sole executor of his mother's will proved in London in 1728 in which JOHN is still mentioned as being 'of Leghorn'
Anyone got any more???
