I am wondering what part of Czechoslovakia your family originated. My grandfather, Andrew Horvat came from Jasenov, Slovakia, married in Sharon, PA in 1902 to Mary Petrovcsak(where he worked with many other Slovaks in the steel mills), went back to the Old Country, and returned to the United States somewhere around 1908.

I know that my grandfather had a brother, Paul, who lived in Ocean Falls, Canada for some time, and a brother John (md. Susan Hrubovcsak), too.

Paul Horvat
