Dear Brian,
Is your wife's connection to William Hill Hosch, through his 3rd child John Hosch and his wife Nannie Plunkett? I would love to have your family lines. Here is what I have on Jacob Hosch. He is the son of Henry Hosch of PA. He was a private in the North Hampton mailitia, 1st Company, 3rd battalion, PA. Jacob came to SC in 1783 and d. ca 1819. He was married to Rachel Jones. They were the parents of four children. 1)Mathew Hosch 2) Jacob Hosch, Jr 3) Rachel Hosch 4) Ann Cathcart Hosch. Do you have information on the Mobley side of the family? Mary Hill's mother was a Mobley, and that part of the family is WELL documented. I will gladly share information.
