Henry Hosfield owned a shoe store in the part of Akron known as North Hill. His son, Henry Jr., was an accomplished athlete for North High School in Akron and then for Oberlin College in the 1920s. He also was well known in the 30s and 40s in Akron because of his coaching career at North High where he coached the 1935 and 1939 North High state basketball champions. There is some information regarding him on my web site at on the SPORTS page. I have e-mail adresses for some of Henry Jr.'s children. Would be happy to share them with their permission.
