Do you know where your great grandfather was born in Lancashire? When did he arrive here in the States? Do you know the name of his parents from vital records (birth, marriage, death)? Howarth is a very common surname in the Lancashire area and then to top it off with the name Thomas. What documents have you been able to obtain thus far.
