Hello Stephen,
I have just stumbled across your yDNA project, and would very much like to know what progress you have made. My maiden name was Howarth and I've been researching my family tree for some years, on and off. My father's people came from Derbyshire, but he always said they were originally from Yorkshire. I have got back as far as a Joseph Howarth, nailmaker, born in Derbyshire in 1791, but seem to have reached a dead end.
Would love to hear from you.
Regards, Joseen.
