Hello,
Read with interest your inquiry regarding William Howarth and Ann Frank. The problem you are having tracing William Howarth is because somewhere after he and Ann Frank divorced, and he married Albertina Mitzlaff(sp?) in 1872, William became William Howard. He is my great-grandfather. He and Albertina had 8 children, one of which was my grandfather, and he and Albertina are buried in Union Cemetery in Campbellsport, Wisconsin. He bought a farm in Ashford Township after he and Albertina were married and that's where my grandfather, father, and my sister and I were born and raised. I have the complete genealogy of William and Albertina Howard if you are interested. I never knew he was married to Ann Frank and had another family until just recently. Apparently, there is an entire leg of family to add to the family tree.
If I can help you with any other information, please let me know.
Sincerely, Joan (Howard) Babcock
