I am interested in making contact with any descendants of Thomas HOWAT and Jane ORR who married in 1869 in Dreghorn, Ayrshire in Scotland. Thomas HOWAT b abt 1843 was previously married to Margaret SPENCE in 1864. Thomas’s parents were Peter Thomas HOWAT and Janet STRACHAN who married in 1831 in Kilmarnock. Jane ORR was born in Ballantrae in 1845 to parents William ORR & Agnes McTIER who married in 1840 in Ballantrae. Thomas and Jane had at least 6 children; Agnes 1869, Peter 1871, Janet 1873, Jeanie 1875, William 1877 and Susan 1880, all born in Dreghorn.
