I have found some Lochhead info at Ancestry.com but the source notes are insufficient for my liking. Based on what's there it appears Isabella Lochhead, mother of my Janet Howat, was indeed likely the daughter of Robert Lochhead and Janet Thomson. The Lochhead researchers have a group of children of John and Isabella (Lochhead) Howat -including Janet- but no indication of where they settled in Canada.
