Looking for info on Jasper HOWAT (could be Robert Jasper Howat) who is buried in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA with an internment date of 2 October 1869. His wife was Mary, and she was buried 15 Aug 1874. They are in a family plot bought by the Howats. Other family members in the plots are LORIMERs (Elizabeth, James, J. Robert, Agnes, Jean, William, and Jeanette Lorimer Tyler) and GALLOWAYs (Michael and Janette).
The Lorimers are from Kilmarnock, Ayr, Scotland and emigrated about 1856/7 to Philadelphia, PA. I think that Mary Howat may be the widowed mother of James Lorimer and she married 2nd, Jasper Howat. Janette Galloway and Mary Howat could also be sisters --Mary Russell and Janet Russell from Muirkirk, Ayr, Scotland.
The only other clue from Ivy Hill Cemetery is that they may have attended First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.
